Rental Terms

• Rental time runs from your pickup time to the return time you select at checkout
• Late returns are billed at the daily rate
• Valid driver's license and a card for the $150 pre-authorization required at pickup
• Equipment must be returned clean and fueled
• Customer is responsible for damage beyond normal wear

Toro TRX-250 Walk-Behind Trencher

Heavy-duty walk-behind trencher powered by a 24.5 HP Toro V-twin gas engine. Digs at 24", 36", or 48" depth in 4" or 6" widths, so one machine covers everything from landscape lighting to a water line. Toro's Intelli-Trench technology automatically diverts hydraulic flow to the digging chain when it hits resistance, which means it keeps cutting through hard clay and rock instead of bogging down. The track system stays stable on slopes and won't tear up the turf on the way to the trench.

Good for: Irrigation lines, drainage pipe, electrical conduit, landscape lighting, French drains, and underground utilities.

Call 811 before you dig

Free, required in North Carolina, and they'll come mark your gas, power, and communication lines. Give them a few business days ahead of your rental date. We'll ask whether you've called before we hand over the machine.

Trailer included, no charge

The trailer comes with the machine at no extra cost. This is the easiest of our machines to haul, and most half-ton trucks handle it without trouble.

You'll need a tow vehicle with an adequate hitch rating, and the trailer is your responsibility on the road. Not sure your truck is up to it? Call before you drive over.
